THE MAN AND THE 18TH CENTURY WOMEN' STLYE:

THE WOMAN

This is the era of Victorian and Edwardian, when women's fashion was highly intense. Women were made to change at least four to five times a day according to her itinery for the day. Also this women were wives daughters or nieces of wealthy men in the society. The women were dressed according to their husbands' wealth.

THE PERFECT PICTURE

Her man scrutinizes her sense of style before any function if there maybe, so as to match with his status.

THE PRIDE OF WOMANHOOD

This is very interesting, for ladies like me who love fashion and pamper, i wouldn't mind having to change my clothing every hour to ensure that I'm representing my husband and family. As we all know the trends changes each season, so what would you say to the 18th century style of fashion coming back in limelight!!!!!!!!..

 CLASSIC AND ELEGANT

Would you like to have this look someday in this era?????????  I need your honest opinions.... Will be back next week

  1. The approach on womens' fashion making prove of your social status is very interesting. I think till today clothing can tell something about your life (have a look at http://books.google.co.uk/books?hl=en&lr=&id=vphcHONAXmwC&oi=fnd&pg=PR9&dq=women+fashion+social+status&ots=qcJeyn3NE_&sig=ZqgoyPFegvnaukxYqn_eFQpmpWk#v=onepage&q=women%20fashion%20social%20status&f=false). To be honest I would not like to look like women of the 19th century. To many restrictions and layers although layers (http://kateview.blogspot.com/2012/02/hotness-in-onion-look.html) are trendy. It must have been heavily unpractical and uncomfortable to wear corsets, frames etc. On the other hand I agree with you that changing up to five times a day (see Anna Dello Russo at http://www.annadellorusso.com/) can be fun. But I would not want to do it in order to be a man's accessory.
